Say Hello...Claire Bolland
Name: Claire Bolland
Role: Account Manager
Since: January 2019
Wok Wok Order: Honey chilli chicken or chicken satay!
For those who don’t know give us a quick rundown of what you do:
I’m here to look after our clients and to keep design and web projects on track, however, you’ll also find me working on all things digital! From writing social media strategies to implementing digital campaigns for clients. With a background in event management, you’ll soon realise I rate an organised to-do list and weirdly enjoy proofreading! You’ll also spot me out and about coordinating photoshoots or doing the odd bit of hand modelling on the side.
Favourite aspect of your job:
The variety! Getting to work on so many different projects and meeting such a range of clients is definitely the best bit. Makes each day interesting - anything from architects to alcohol producers. It gives you great insight into the different industries.
What do you like doing when you’re not in the studio?
I have a major love for food therefore when I’m not in the studio you’ll usually spot me out and about in Aberdeen trying out as many food related places as possible or attempting to rustle up a feast at home.
I recently re-homed a Romanian rescue dog called Finn (@foxdogfinn), he has definitely motivated me to get out the house, go on some long weekend walks and spend a lot of time at the beach.
My most recent hobby is attempting to skateboard but I haven’t quite managed to ditch the kneepads yet!
Tell us a wee something about you that folks might not know and or care about.
I’ve played dodgeball for a few years. I was completely forced into it by my pals and now I train twice a week with a local team called Granite City Guerrillas. It’s a strangely addictive sport and it’s a good laugh (until you get hit in the face or break your fingers!) In 2017 I made the cut for the national Scotland dodgeball team - I have no idea what they were thinking!
Lastly - what’s your guilty pleasure:
Chipsticks. Once I get my hands on a bag I turn into a complete crisp monster!
