Best Craft Winner - The Nods 2020
Hugely pleased to win 'Best Craft' at this year's The Nods for our work with City of Aberdeen Distillery.

75 years after the last Aberdeen distillery closed its doors, the new City of Aberdeen Distillery (CoAD) aims to restore the Granite City’s distilling tradition. Located under a railway arch near the city centre, it’s home to Aberdeen Gin School - a truly authentic gin-distilling experience.
Featuring a manually adjusted and hand-pressed typeface and hand-drawn illustrations by artist Lynn Crawford, the CoAD brand is steeped in civic pride and touches of artistry – and we are so delighted to be recognised for such a 'hands-on' project.

The Nods 2020 judge Dave O'Hare gave feedback from the panel for our entry:
"As communicators, we're tasked with a really difficult job. I mean, how do you communicate things like quality, tradition, heritage, hand-crafted without saying any of those things? Well, one way to do it is to simply become those things, and that's exactly what this year's winner did. Well crafted, well done."
Congratulations to all of the other nominees and winners at this year's The Nods - amazing work all round.
