When two friends on the opposite sides of the globe approached us to develop a brand and bottle for a project that aimed to marry together the best of two prestigious distilling histories, we just couldn't say no. The Outlaw Rum Company set out with one goal in mind — to create a classic rum to rival the taste and complexity of the finest single malt whiskies. A challenger spirit that stands for independence and doing things your own way.

Starting life in the dunder pits of Port of Spain, Trinidad, this unique spirit was developed with the finest rum distillers in the world, then transported over swell and through storm to its resting place in the foothills of the Cairngorms, where it's aged in single malt whisky casks until maturity.

Born in Trinidad and matured in Scotland.

Central to the brand is the story of two unlikely friends who share a passion for fine spirits and a rebellious nature. The bottle carries the story of their kinship and their journey to create this unique spirit.

Rooted in tradition, but with an added twist of doing things differently, the brand literally wears its story on the bottle — building character and recognition with a nod to classic whisky labelling and a three-level direct-to-bottle print.

Restrained, yet decorative — the brand and bottle straddles the old and the new, the simple and complex. Mirroring the spirit contained within it.
